WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
My office is located at 400 Chilver Road, Unit 303. It is on top of the Victoria Tavern in Windsor. When you arrive for an in person appointment, please text or call and I will meet you at the front door of the Tavern.
Please note: there are two sets of stairs to reach the office space. If you are physically unable to access the office space, I provide phone, virtual, or in-home consultations for accessibility.
WHAT SERVICES DO YOU PROVIDE?
I provide individual appointments for nutrition counselling and education, as well as group coaching and workplace wellness seminars.
I do not provide consulting services related to recipe development or nutrition labelling at this time. If this is a service you require, please consult Food to Facts.
ARE PRIVATE PRACTICE DIETITIANS COVERED BY OHIP?
Services offered by private practice dietitians are are not covered by the OHIP system. However, you may have extended health care benefits for a Registered Dietitian and should call to inquire about your individual health insurance plan (examples Green Shield, Manulife, The Great-West Life, Sun Life, etc). Many clients also pay for services directly and your receipt is tax deductible in Ontario
CAN YOU BILL DIRECTLY TO INSURANCE PROVIDERS?
As of March 10, 2024, I have made the decision to no longer provide direct billing to insurance providers for my services. This change is aimed at streamlining our operations and focusing more on delivering high-quality care to you, my valued client.
What does this mean for you?
When you receive services from me, you will be issued a detailed receipt outlining the services provided along with the associated fees. This receipt can then be submitted to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement, depending on your individual plan and coverage.
While I understand that direct billing can be convenient, this shift allows me to allocate more time and resources to providing personalized nutrition guidance and support to help you achieve your health goals effectively.
Rest assured, my commitment to delivering exceptional care and support remains unchanged. Should you have any questions or need assistance with insurance reimbursement, please don't hesitate to reach out. Your health and well-being are my top priorities, and I am here to assist you every step of the way.
DO YOU WORK WITH CLIENTS OUTSIDE OF ONTARIO?
Natalie DeMarco is licensed with the College of Dietitians of Ontario, which permits her to work with Canadians living in Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland & Labrador.
DO YOU OFFER VIRTUAL APPOINTMENTS?
Yes! In-person, video, and phone consultations are now available. If you choose a video consultation, an e-mail with a link to a secure video platform will be e-mailed immediately upon booking your appointment. Simply click on the link at the time of your appointment. If you book a phone consultation, the dietitian will be calling you at the time of your appointment.
